Role Overview

Work as a remote generalist annotator to create and refine high-quality datasets that train next-generation AI systems. This role focuses on applying domain knowledge, critical thinking, and clear communication to label diverse data accurately and consistently. No prior AI experience is required, domain expertise and attention to detail are the primary assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and annotate a variety of data types following detailed project guidelines.
  • Use critical thinking to produce accurate, consistent, and relevant labels.
  • Collaborate with project leads to resolve ambiguities and clarify annotation standards.
  • Document observations, edge cases, and suggested improvements to annotation procedures.
  • Contribute feedback to help optimize annotation processes and guidelines.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail across assigned tasks.
  • Communicate regularly with project coordinators through written and verbal channels.
Qualifications
  • Experience with data annotation or related work is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfort with remote work, independent task management, and meeting deliverables.
  • Generalist mindset, adaptable to a wide range of content and annotation scenarios.
  • Prior exposure to collaborative projects or remote professional engagements is a plus.
  • Required skills include data annotation, critical thinking, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and remote work management.
