Role Overview
Collect first-person video and synchronized smartphone sensor data to train next-generation AI systems. This contractor role focuses on high-fidelity, repeatable recordings of physical tasks following strict technical protocols. No prior AI experience is required; reliability, attention to detail, and correct execution of recording procedures are the core priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Capture precise motion data using your smartphone inertial measurement unit during specified physical tasks.
- Record synchronized, head-mounted first-person video to validate and enhance sensor data integrity.
- Use supported devices, for example the iPhone 12 and later, Google Pixel 6 and later, and Samsung Galaxy S21 and later.
- Follow detailed technical protocols to meet quality, labeling, and determinism standards for each submission.
- Contribute a minimum of 10 hours of approved video data per week throughout the project duration.
- Communicate with the project team to clarify instructions and provide feedback on data collection processes.
- Deliver data outputs reliably and on schedule to meet project milestones.
- Complete required device compatibility checks and participate in a custom AI-enabled interview as part of selection.
- Access to a compatible smartphone capable of high-fidelity sensor and video capture.
- Access to a head strap or equivalent head-mounted camera setup, and ability to record both hands within 48 hours of the start date.
- Demonstrated ability to follow standardized protocols and technical instructions precisely.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering reliable output in a fast-paced, data-driven setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and documentation.
- High digital literacy and experience using mobile devices for recording tasks.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive movement tasks safely and accurately.
- Note: applications submitted with a Gmail address are strongly preferred for smoother tool integration.

- Location: Remote, experts must be based in Western or Eastern Europe. Selected countries include Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain.
- Minimum commitment: consistently supply at least 10 hours of approved video data per week for the duration of the project.
- All tasks must be performed from a mobile device using a head-mounted camera setup to capture first-person video.
- Access to the required head strap and readiness to record both hands within 48 hours of the start date is mandatory.
- Listed rate: 10 - 10 hourly.
- Payment model: output-based, experts are paid per recorded video that meets project specifications.
- The time required to produce approved work varies by expert experience and workflow.
- Applicants must be located in one of the listed European countries above.
- Independent contractor status is required for this engagement.
