Data-Video Generalist for AI Model Training

Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI systems by collecting high-quality, real-world motion and video data while completing specified physical and household tasks. No prior AI experience is required, your ability to follow precise protocols and produce reliable data is central to the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture precise motion data with your smartphone’s IMU sensor suite during assigned physical tasks.
• Record synchronized video footage that validates and strengthens the collected sensor data.
• Follow detailed technical protocols and meet strict quality, labeling, and determinism standards.
• Communicate with the remote team to clarify guidance and share feedback on data-collection processes.
• Deliver data outputs reliably and on time against project milestones.
• Complete required device-compatibility checks and a custom AI-enabled interview.

Qualifications

• Access to a compatible smartphone: iPhone 12 or later, Google Pixel 6 or later, or Samsung Galaxy S21 or later.
• Access to a head strap that can record both hands within 48 hours of the start date.
• Ability to safely and accurately complete repetitive movement tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standardized protocols and rigorous technical instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document work and collaborate remotely.
• Mobile-device experience, strong digital literacy, and a track record of dependable output in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• A Gmail address is strongly preferred to support tool integration.

Work Terms

• Independent contractor role, performed remotely from a smartphone using a head-mounted camera setup to capture first-person video of physical tasks.
• Contribute at least 10 hours of approved video data each week.
• Selected candidates should be ready to begin their first task promptly, with an expected start within approximately 24 hours after completing the required setup process.

Compensation

The stated rate is $10 per hour. Compensation is output-based, with payment for each recorded video that meets the required specifications; time needed may vary based on experience and workflow.
