Role Overview
Lead focused technology initiatives that help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world technology management expertise. You will plan and deliver projects, oversee external vendors, coordinate teams, and communicate progress and outcomes to diverse stakeholders. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive project plans covering timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and oversee external vendors, ensuring deliverables meet established service-level agreements, SLAs.
- Support project participants, encourage effective collaboration, and resolve conflicts to keep work on track.
- Monitor progress, identify risks early, and enable timely decisions.
- Provide concise written and verbal reports on project status, risks, and outcomes for key stakeholders.
- Maintain quality standards throughout each project and ensure objectives are delivered within scope and constraints.
- Contribute practical insights and feedback that improve AI models trained on technology management scenarios.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience leading multi-quarter technology initiatives with full-cycle ownership, including planning, vendor coordination, and results delivery.
- Experience in team management, cross-functional leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making within complex projects.
- A proven record of vendor management and negotiation, particularly with external technology providers.
- Knowledge of establishing, monitoring, and enforcing SLAs, including reporting on vendor performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex updates for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience creating clear project documentation and executive-level reports.
- Experience contributing to or leading projects where insights informed process improvements or technology adoption decisions.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $70 to $130 per hour.
