Role Overview
Apply advanced chemistry expertise to help improve large language models through rigorous problem creation, solution development, and clear explanations. This remote contract role combines analytical work, strong English comprehension, and chemistry content spanning text, images, equations, diagrams, and other visual representations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and solve advanced chemistry problems, including postgraduate-level work, with detailed explanations.
- Analyze complex organic reaction mechanisms using written explanations and annotated chemical structures.
- Solve chemical-equilibrium problems using reaction-progress and energy diagrams alongside written and visual explanations.
- Address challenging stoichiometry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and electrochemistry questions at engineering entrance-exam or engineering-college level.
- Provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations that support model improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in chemistry at a level comparable to PhD-level study.
- Good research, analytical, creative, and lateral-thinking skills.
- Ability to break down complex chemistry problems into clear, simple, structured explanations.
- Ability to communicate chemistry concepts using plain language, visuals, diagrams, and simulations when needed.
- Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills for remote work.
- Self-motivated, independent working style.
- Desktop or laptop computer and reliable internet connection.
Eligibility
- Candidates pursuing a PhD or postdoctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field are eligible and encouraged to apply.
