Role Overview
Apply advanced chemistry expertise to help improve large language models through the creation, solution, and explanation of challenging chemistry problems. This remote opportunity combines analytical reasoning, strong English comprehension, and clear scientific communication across text, images, chemical equations, diagrams, and other visual representations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and solve advanced chemistry questions, including postgraduate-level problems, with detailed explanations.
- Analyze complex organic reaction mechanisms and provide written explanations with annotated chemical structures.
- Solve chemical-equilibrium problems using visual representations of reaction progress and energy diagrams, supported by clear written and visual explanations.
- Address problems in stoichiometry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and electrochemistry at engineering entrance exam or engineering college level.
- Provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations to support model training.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in chemistry at a level comparable to PhD study.
- Research, analytical, creative, and lateral-thinking skills.
- Ability to break down complex chemistry problems into clear, simple explanations using language, visuals, and simulations when needed.
- Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and efficient in completing assigned work.
- Desktop or laptop with a reliable internet connection.
Eligibility
- Candidates pursuing a PhD or postdoctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field are eligible and encouraged to apply.
