Apply advanced chemistry expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems for a scientific and research-focused project. This remote contract role centers on translating rigorous laboratory knowledge, experimental judgment, and clear scientific communication into high-quality training data and feedback. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses and experiments supporting product development, quality control, or process optimization.
- Design and interpret complex laboratory experiments involving chemical reactions, synthesis, and separation techniques.
- Document laboratory methods, data, and findings accurately to support reproducibility and scientific integrity.
- Evaluate experimental results critically and recommend improvements or new lines of investigation.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly, in writing and verbally, with project stakeholders.
- Explain complex chemistry concepts and experimental outcomes in actionable terms for non-specialist audiences.
- Contribute chemistry expertise to strengthen AI training datasets and model reasoning capabilities.
- Advanced degree in Chemistry or a closely related field, with a PhD preferred.
- Extensive hands-on experience with wet-lab techniques, experimental design, and laboratory instrumentation.
- Deep knowledge of chemical reactions, analytical chemistry, and laboratory best practices.
- Strong critical-thinking skills and a demonstrated record of innovative problem-solving in research or applied chemistry.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with interdisciplinary or cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with quality-control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines is a plus.
- Remote contract engagement.
