Role Overview
Apply your physics expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through accurate, real-world scientific input. This remote contractor role focuses on evaluating technical content, developing learning materials, and providing feedback that strengthens how AI models reason about physics. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and annotate scientific data, equations, and experimental findings across physics domains.
- Create and review problem sets, research summaries, and technical explanations covering foundational and advanced physics concepts.
- Assess the accuracy and clarity of physics content used for AI training.
- Write or edit detailed reports, analytical write-ups, and experimental descriptions that support AI reasoning and comprehension.
- Identify data-quality or coverage gaps and recommend improvements for robust model development.
- Collaborate asynchronously with project managers and other subject-matter experts to meet key milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s, master''s, or doctoral degree in physics or a closely related discipline.
- Physics domain expertise, including a strong understanding of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and modern physics.
- Experience authoring physics research papers, experimental reports, or technical write-ups.
- Experience with data analysis, experimental design, or computational modeling in a physics context.
- Strong scientific writing, research summarization, problem-set creation, and content-annotation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, close attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to varied audiences.
- Ability to work effectively on collaborative remote projects.
Work Terms
- Remote independent contractor engagement.
Compensation
- $20 to $50 per hour.
