About this role

Role Overview

Apply your physics expertise to create, evaluate, and refine scientific content that trains and improves next-generation AI systems. As a remote contractor, you will annotate data, produce problem sets and technical summaries, and provide authoritative feedback that shapes model learning and reasoning. No prior AI experience is required, domain knowledge is the priority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and annotate scientific data, equations, and experimental findings across diverse physics domains.
  • Create and review problem sets, research summaries, and technical explanations for foundational and advanced physics topics.
  • Provide expert feedback on the accuracy and clarity of physics-related content intended for AI training.
  • Author or edit detailed reports, analytical write-ups, and experimental descriptions to guide model reasoning and comprehension.
  • Identify gaps in data quality or topical coverage and recommend improvements to support robust model development.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with project managers and other subject-matter experts to deliver high-quality input and meet milestones.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in Physics or a closely related discipline preferred.
  • Proven record of authoring research papers, experimental reports, or technical write-ups in physics.
  • Strong grasp of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and modern physics.
  • Experience with data analysis, experimental design, or computational modeling in a physics context.
  • Scientific writing, research summarization, problem set creation, and content annotation experience.
  • Ability to simplify and clearly explain complex concepts for varied audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in remote, asynchronous teams.
