Role Overview
Apply advanced mathematics expertise to help train next generation AI systems through high quality, real world mathematical input. This remote contract role focuses on shaping how models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate, comprehensive responses to complex mathematics prompts across undergraduate and graduate curricula.
- Review, refine, and deliver high quality model answers for AI training.
- Analyze mathematical problems, proofs, and concepts, translating them into structured, accessible explanations.
- Collaborate with a distributed team of experts to maintain clarity, precision, and educational value.
- Provide feedback that improves project guidelines, response standards, and content workflows.
- Meet requirements for formatting, quality, and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- PhD in Mathematics or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated academic excellence and graduate level subject matter expertise.
- Advanced mathematics and mathematical problem solving skills.
- Strong academic writing, content review, and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Experience authoring or reviewing mathematics materials, including textbooks, exams, problem sets, or journal articles.
- Familiarity with multiple branches of pure and applied mathematics.
- Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to precise work, and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, iterative feedback environment.
Work Terms
- Remote independent contractor engagement supporting an advanced AI training project.
Compensation
- $80 to $90 per hour.
