Role Overview
Use your PhD-level scientific expertise and Chinese-language fluency to help advanced AI systems handle specialized technical subjects more safely, accurately, and responsibly. You will assess and strengthen model performance on scientific content in Chinese; no prior AI or machine learning experience is required, and training on the workflow is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Create expert-level Chinese prompts covering specialized scientific topics.
- Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate treatment of sensitive content.
- Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
- Use scientific judgment to improve how AI models address specialized technical topics in Chinese.
Qualifications
- PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field, completed or in progress.
- Ability to develop prompts across chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear subject areas.
- Native or near-native Chinese fluency and business-level written English.
- Deep familiarity with current laboratory and computational methods in your specialty.
- Sound judgment regarding scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.
Preferred Background
- Based in Hong Kong or elsewhere in East Asia, though applicants in other locations are welcome.
- Chemistry-based radiological or nuclear expertise, including radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry, energetic materials, or radiation physics.
- Specialized depth in an area such as organic or inorganic synthesis, molecular biology, microbiology, virology, or genetics.
- Research or coursework in chemical safety and security, biosafety and biosecurity, or hazardous-materials handling.
- Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.
Work Terms
- Remote, with East Asia preferred.
- Hourly engagement.

- $68 to $72 per hour.
