Role Overview
Apply your accounting and audit expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. You will provide high-quality, real-world financial knowledge that improves how AI understands, reasons about, and processes financial information. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare and audit financial statements.
- Advise on financial reporting, compliance, and accounting best practices.
- Evaluate financial statements prepared by others for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Install, review, or advise on systems used to record costs and budgetary data.
- Apply knowledge of economics, accounting principles, and taxation to support AI training datasets.
- Contribute practical insights that improve AI understanding of financial documents and processes.
- Document findings clearly through written and verbal communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of economics, accounting, law, government regulations, and taxation.
- Substantial experience preparing and auditing financial statements.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and budgetary controls.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical subject matter.
- Detail-oriented approach to data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Current or prior experience in one or more of these roles: Certified Public Accountant, Cost Accountant, Financial Auditor, General Accountant, Internal Auditor, or Revenue Tax Specialist.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced certification such as CPA, CMA, or CIA, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience advising on or implementing financial systems and controls.
- Ability to explain complex accounting concepts to diverse audiences.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $40 to $95 per hour.
