Role Overview
Collect high-fidelity motion and synchronized video data using your smartphone to help train next-generation AI systems. This role focuses on precise sensor capture, strict adherence to labeling and quality protocols, and reliable weekly delivery of approved video recordings.
Key Responsibilities- Capture motion data from your phone s IMU sensors while performing specified physical activities.
- Record synchronized video footage that matches sensor data to ensure accuracy and integrity of the dataset.
- Follow detailed technical protocols and labeling requirements to meet strict quality and determinism standards.
- Deliver a minimum of 10 hours of high-quality, approved video data each week for the duration of the project.
- Communicate proactively with the project team to clarify requirements and report issues or observations about data collection.
- Maintain timely and reliable submission of outputs aligned with project milestones and expectations.
- Participate in device compatibility checks and complete an AI-enabled interview as part of onboarding.
- Access to a compatible smartphone capable of high-fidelity sensor and video capture. Supported devices include iPhone 12 and later, Google Pixel 6 and later, and Samsung Galaxy S21 and later.
- Access to a head strap to record both hands, available within 48 hours of the start date.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a history of following standardized protocols.
- Proven ability to manage output and meet deadlines in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and documentation.
- Comfort with repetitive movement tasks and the physical ability to perform recordings safely.
- Advanced comfort with mobile technology and sensor-based data capture.
- Applications submitted with a Gmail address are strongly preferred for smoother tool integration.
- Background in robotics, kinesiology, human motion analysis, or related technical fields.
- Experience with activity segmentation, sensor-based data collection, or machine learning dataset labeling.
- Familiarity with structuring large-scale datasets for AI and robotics applications.

- Location: Remote; experts must be based in Latin America or the Caribbean. Selected countries include Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, and Uruguay.
- Minimum weekly commitment: deliver at least 10 hours of approved video each week. Note that minimum submission requirements apply and may be defined per project; some project guidance references a minimum of 10 to 15 hours per week.
- Device compatibility checks and an AI-enabled interview are required during onboarding before assignments begin.
- We typically fill roles quickly, often within 48 hours. Candidates should be ready to begin tasks on short notice.
- Listed rate: $6.00 per hour.
- Compensation structure is output-based, with payment tied to recorded videos that meet project specifications. Time required per approved video will vary by expert and workflow.
- Videos must meet project-defined length and quality criteria to qualify for payment.
- Must be located in one of the listed Latin American or Caribbean countries at the time of engagement.
- Must have access to a compatible smartphone and a head strap for recordings within 48 hours of start.
