Engineering and Data Tools Specialist for AI Training

Apply your engineering and data tooling expertise to evaluate, document, and improve tools and workflows that will help train next-generation AI systems. You will assess usability and integration of engineering and data platforms, produce actionable technical feedback, and create practical documentation and use cases. No prior experience in AI is required, your domain knowledge is the priority.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate usability and effectiveness of engineering and data tools, including GitHub, Azure, Metabase, and JIRA.
- Create comprehensive documentation and feedback reports based on real-world tool usage and engineering best practices.
- Design, review, and test workflows that integrate cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Firebase, and developer productivity platforms like Linear, Postman, and n8n.
- Analyze data visualization, monitoring, and CI/CD tools, including Tableau, Datadog, Sentry, and BrowserStack, for integration potential and process improvements.
- Develop detailed use cases, technical guides, and process documentation for new features and data workflows.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, delivering clear, written and verbal recommendations and technical insights.
- Contribute domain expertise that shapes how AI models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
- Required: strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Required: hands-on familiarity with GitHub, Azure, JIRA, and Metabase.
- Preferred: 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience with engineering, developer tooling, and cloud infrastructure platforms.
- Preferred tool experience includes, but is not limited to, Postman, AWS, Firebase, Datadog, Sentry, Linear, n8n, Twilio, Databricks, Tableau, and BrowserStack.
- Bachelor''s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or equivalent practical experience, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Ability to synthesize complex technical feedback into actionable improvement proposals.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently as a remote contributor.
