Role Overview
Apply advanced financial and operational chart analysis expertise to create high-quality training and evaluation materials for next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on accurate interpretation, multi-step quantitative reasoning, and clear, objectively verifiable analytical work. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret complex financial and operational visualizations, including candlestick charts, yield curves, drawdown charts, market-volume charts, control charts, Pareto charts, process flows, and capacity and throughput charts.
- Create clear, objective questions based on detailed visualizations that require multi-step quantitative analysis and domain knowledge beyond surface-level observations.
- Provide precise, unambiguous answers with comprehensive written explanations, explicit analytical steps, and calculations in professional English.
- Use accurate financial, economic, and operational terminology, with clear treatment of units, scales, timeframes, categories, and notation.
- Develop tasks covering graphical reasoning, comparisons, trend analysis, calculations, and interpolation while avoiding subjective or ambiguous language.
- Collaborate remotely with project teams in writing and verbally, incorporate feedback, and deliver consistent, reliable contributions.
- Produce objectively verifiable tasks that support AI model development, training, and evaluation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least two years of professional, academic, or research experience interpreting financial market data, risk metrics, or operational performance charts.
- Advanced ability to interpret chart axes, units, legends, scales, and annotations across varied chart formats.
- Strong chart-interpretation accuracy, multi-step quantitative reasoning, and ability to construct unambiguous analytical questions and tasks.
- Ability to explain analytical processes and quantitative reasoning clearly in written and spoken English.
- Bilingual English proficiency and, ideally, proficiency in a second language relevant to finance or operations.
- Experience with technical documentation, financial reporting, process or quality assessment, or structured analytical task creation is preferred.
- Experience producing data-annotation tasks, benchmark questions, technical reports, or related deliverables for finance, operations, or AI-focused projects is preferred.
Work Terms
- Remote independent contractor engagement.
Compensation
- $25 to $50 per hour.
