Role Overview
Use advanced financial and operational chart analysis to create high-quality training and evaluation materials for next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on turning real-world expertise into clear, objectively verifiable analytical tasks. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret complex financial and operational visualizations, including candlestick charts, yield curves, drawdown charts, market-volume charts, control charts, Pareto charts, process flows, and capacity and throughput charts.
- Create clear, objective reasoning questions based on detailed visualizations that require multi-step quantitative analysis and domain expertise.
- Provide precise, unambiguous answers with comprehensive written explanations, explicit reasoning steps, and calculations in professional English.
- Use accurate financial, economic, and operational terminology, with clear treatment of units, scales, timeframes, categories, and notation.
- Develop tasks involving graphical reasoning, comparisons, trend analysis, calculations, and interpolation while avoiding subjective or ambiguous phrasing.
- Collaborate remotely with project teams in writing and verbally, incorporate feedback, and deliver consistent, reliable work.
- Produce objectively verifiable tasks that support AI model development, training, and evaluation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least two years of professional, academic, or research experience interpreting financial market data, risk metrics, or operational performance charts.
- Advanced ability to interpret axes, units, legends, scales, and annotations across varied chart types.
- Strong written and spoken English, including the ability to explain analytical processes and quantitative reasoning clearly.
- Bilingual English proficiency and, ideally, a second language relevant to finance or operations.
- Experience with technical documentation, financial reporting, process or quality assessment, or structured analytical task creation.
- Experience producing data-annotation tasks, benchmark questions, technical reports, or similar deliverables for finance, operations, or AI-focused projects.
Work Terms
- Remote independent contractor engagement.
Compensation
- $25 to $50 per hour.
