Strategic Projects Lead, Finance

Role Overview

Lead end-to-end delivery of finance-focused projects for leading AI lab customers. You will turn customer needs into practical project plans, build high-quality data pipelines, and coordinate operations teams and finance experts to deliver accurate, scalable results at speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Own projects from initial pipeline framing and scope through execution and delivery.
• Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable specifications for finance workflows.
• Design and continuously improve finance data pipelines for usability, accuracy, quality, and scalability.
• Coordinate operations teams and finance domain experts for rapid deployment.
• Set delivery milestones and maintain a focused execution cadence.
• Manage client communication with clarity, consistency, and directness.
• Manage finance experts and project leads to maintain quality and meet delivery commitments.
• Provide daily internal progress updates, including blockers and explicit next steps.

Qualifications

• Background in finance, financial engineering, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience leading complex projects, operational workflows, or finance-related initiatives.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, stakeholder management, ownership, urgency, and attention to detail.
• Ability to convert ambiguous customer requirements into clear plans and execute quickly.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment with an entrepreneurial, execution-focused mindset.
• Experience with AI or machine learning companies, AI labs, data annotation, evaluation projects, finance-focused technical projects, or data-intensive projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with financial modeling, investment analysis, financial markets, accounting, complex finance workflows, data pipelines, AI training workflows, or human-in-the-loop operations is preferred.

Work Terms

• Full-time, remote position.

Compensation

• The listing indicates annual compensation of $400, 000 to $550, 000.
• The stated national base-salary range is $180, 000 to $230, 000 USD.
• Eligible employees may receive equity compensation and performance-based bonuses, subject to role and company policies.
