This is an ongoing, project-based, part-time contract role that can be performed remotely alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral work, or industry employment. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI outputs related to store operations, performance reporting, cash handling, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Provide clear, written feedback that helps improve AI understanding of retail store management practices.
  • Work independently and asynchronously with research teams, following project instructions and quality guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in retail store management, for example Store Manager, District Manager, or an equivalent role in the retail industry.
  • Hands-on experience with store performance reporting and cash and inventory reconciliation, and familiarity with everyday store operations.
  • Strong written communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an asynchronous environment.
  • No prior AI or machine learning experience required.
Work Terms

Fully remote, flexible and asynchronous schedule with no minimum hour requirement. Most contributors work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week when participating in an active project. Engagement is project-based and hourly contract in nature. Placement onto projects depends on current project needs, with opportunities to be considered for future projects as they become available.

Compensation

Up to $80/hr (depending on the project)
