Role Overview
Provide professional Mexican Spanish voice recordings to train and improve AI voice systems at a leading AI data lab. This remote contract role requires production-quality deliveries, emotional and conversational performance range, and a regular weekly commitment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality voice recordings in Spanish, using Mexican Spanish pronunciation and natural conversational flow.
- Interpret and act scripts with clarity, emotion, and varied character nuances as required by project directions.
- Deliver a minimum of 20 hours per week of production-ready audio recorded on professional equipment.
- Follow detailed project guidelines, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent audio quality across sessions.
- Collaborate remotely with project managers and technical teams to align on script delivery and technical standards.
- Participate in a technical interview using your full recording setup, providing a live demonstration of script reading and emotional expression. All interview and project recordings must be made using your best audio setup.
- Native-level fluency in Spanish (Mexico), excellent pronunciation and diction.
- Proven voice acting experience, supported by a portfolio or demo reel.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency operating a home studio recording setup and audio editing software.
- Access to a quiet, acoustically treated recording space.
- Ability to commit to at least 20 hours per week of remote recording work.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with equipment such as EMU 404 USB audio interface, AKG P220 microphone with AKG K271 Mk2 headphones, or Rode NT1 microphone.
- Previous work on AI voice data projects or linguistics-related assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt vocal style across genres and emotional ranges.

- Role is targeted to Mexican Spanish performers, candidates should be able to provide Mexican Spanish performances and ideally be based in Mexico.
- Recordings and interviews must be completed using professional home studio equipment and an acoustically appropriate space.
- Pay range: $20 - $65 per hour.
- Applicants should be native-level Mexican Spanish speakers with the required home studio setup and availability for a minimum 20 hours per week.
- Prepare a demo reel or portfolio that demonstrates voice acting range and previous professional work.
- Selected applicants will be invited to a technical interview where you must perform a live script reading using your actual recording setup. This interview verifies audio quality and expressive range.
- Final selection leads to a contract engagement to deliver regular AI training recordings according to project guidelines.
