About this role

Role Overview

Help improve AI-narrated Spanish audiobooks by reviewing them with the perspective of an engaged listener and the precision of a quality reviewer. You will evaluate text-to-speech narration for US and North American Spanish, identifying where it sounds natural and where it disrupts the listening experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Listen to AI-narrated Spanish audiobooks and assess narration quality, accuracy, naturalness, and listener enjoyment.
  • Identify and document skipped, added, or mispronounced words; incorrectly read numbers; wrongly expanded abbreviations; unnatural phrasing or intonation; and audio glitches or artifacts.
  • Classify each issue and identify its exact location using review tools.
  • Report overall listener satisfaction and distinguish narration that feels natural from narration that breaks the experience.
  • Maintain close attention to detail and consistent review quality across extended listening sessions.

Qualifications

  • Native or near-native fluency in US or North American Spanish.
  • Regular audiobook listening experience and a genuine understanding of what makes an audiobook enjoyable.
  • Working English skills sufficient to write clear reports and communicate with the team. Full bilingual fluency is not required.
  • Experience in annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, linguistics, or similarly detail-focused review work.
  • A patient, discerning ear and the ability to stay accurate during long audio-review sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI training data, model evaluation, or audio quality-assurance annotation.
  • Background in language, editing, voice, or audio production.

Work Terms

  • Remote, hourly, part-time engagement.
  • Approximately 20 hours per week, or about 4 hours per day.
  • Candidates may be located anywhere; applicants living in regions where Spanish is natively spoken are preferred.

Compensation

$15 to $20 per hour.
