Role Overview
Lead recorded, one-on-one Spanish lessons that create natural, high-quality conversations for native English-speaking learners across a range of proficiency levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging individual Spanish tutoring sessions.
- Adapt lessons, topics, structure, and communication style to each learner''s proficiency level.
- Encourage substantive, natural back-and-forth conversation.
- Follow provided lesson structures and project instructions.
- Keep sessions focused, avoiding extended silence and off-topic discussion.
Qualifications
- Fluent Spanish speaker with strong verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor''s degree or higher.
- At least three years of Spanish teaching or tutoring experience.
- Experience teaching native English speakers at different proficiency levels.
- Reliable availability, punctuality, and comfort participating in recorded online sessions.
Work Terms
- Remote, hourly engagement with scheduled one-on-one sessions.
- Sessions must run at least 20 minutes and generally last 20 to 30 minutes.
- Approximately seven hours per week for about three weeks.
Compensation
$60 to $70 per hour.
