Key Responsibilities
  • Listen to English AI-narrated audiobooks and assess narration quality, accuracy, naturalness, and listener experience.
  • Identify and document issues including skipped, added, or mispronounced words; incorrectly read numbers; wrongly expanded abbreviations; unnatural phrasing or intonation; and audio glitches or artifacts.
  • Classify each issue and mark its precise location using review tools.
  • Report where narration feels natural and where it disrupts the listening experience.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail through extended listening sessions.
Qualifications
  • Native or near-native fluency in US or North American English.
  • An active audiobook listener with a clear sense of what creates a strong listening experience.
  • Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Experience with annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, linguistics, or other detail-oriented review work.
  • A patient, discerning ear and the ability to remain accurate during long audio-review sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI training data, model evaluation, or audio quality-assurance annotation.
  • Background in language, editing, voice, or audio production.
Work Terms
  • Remote, part-time hourly role.
  • Approximately 20 hours per week, or about 4 hours per day.
  • Applicants may be based anywhere, with preference for those located in the United States or another region where English is natively spoken.
