Role Overview
Help improve next-generation AI systems by reviewing Spanish language data from Spain. This remote contract role focuses on producing accurate, natural transcriptions and detailed linguistic annotations for audio and text datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and correct machine-generated Spanish (Spain) transcriptions for accuracy, fluency, and natural language use.
- Add precise metadata tags and comprehensive linguistic annotations to audio and text datasets.
- Ensure all work follows linguistic guidelines and project requirements.
- Validate transcription and annotation quality with close attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly with the project team in writing and verbally.
- Work with customer team members to resolve language ambiguities and improve data quality.
- Identify inconsistencies and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Fluent Spanish (Spain), with strong linguistic intuition.
- Demonstrated experience with transcription, annotation, and metadata tagging for language data.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including in remote, multicultural environments.
- Ability to assess and correct machine-generated language output critically.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines.
- Comfort using digital tools to manage language data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber.
- Familiarity with language technology and AI-driven transcription tools.
- Background in linguistics or a related field.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $10 to $20 per hour.
