AI Software Engineer for Recruiting Agent Development

Build and improve a next-generation AI recruiting agent that identifies, evaluates, and engages expert contributors. This role develops production-ready AI features, experiments with modern large language models and agent frameworks, and delivers reliable, scalable systems that make the agent smarter and more useful.

• Design, develop, and improve AI agent capabilities using modern LLMs and agent frameworks.
• Implement backend services and APIs in Python for agent orchestration and integrations.
• Create and iterate on prompts, workflows, retrieval augmented generation, and tool calling strategies.
• Evaluate model and agent performance, run experiments, and continuously improve quality.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship AI-powered features to production.
• Deploy and maintain scalable AI systems in cloud environments.
• Stay current with the latest models, tools, and best practices and apply them to the recruiting agent.

Required

• Strong software engineering skills in Python.
• Experience building applications that use LLMs and AI APIs.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
• Experience building APIs with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong problem solving skills, an experimental mindset, and effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred

• Experience shipping AI products or AI agents to production.
• Familiarity with retrieval augmented generation, tool calling, model evaluation, or prompt engineering.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or personal AI applications.
• Experience working in fast-paced, AI-first environments.

• Listed role compensation range: $160, 000 to $300, 000 per year.
• Company notice: national pay range for this full-time position is base salary $120, 000 to $150, 000 USD.
• All employees are eligible for equity compensation. Employees may also receive performance based bonuses, dependent on role and company policies.
