AI Software Engineer for Recruiting Agent Development

Build and improve a next-generation AI recruiting agent that identifies and vets expert contributors at scale. This role develops new agent capabilities, experiments with modern large language models and agent frameworks, and ships production-ready AI features to make the recruiter smarter, more reliable, and more useful.

• Develop and improve AI agent capabilities using modern LLMs and agent frameworks.
• Design, iterate on, and evaluate prompts, workflows, retrieval augmented generation, and agent orchestration.
• Implement backend services and APIs in Python, including production-grade deployments and maintenance.
• Build and maintain APIs with frameworks such as FastAPI or similar.
• Evaluate model performance, run experiments, and continuously improve quality through data and iteration.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver AI-powered features.
• Deploy and operate scalable AI systems on cloud platforms and stay current with AI models, tools, and best practices.

• Required skills: strong Python software engineering skills, experience with LLMs and AI APIs, familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex, experience with FastAPI or similar, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong problem solving, an experimental mindset, and effective written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Preferred: experience shipping AI products or AI agents to production, familiarity with RAG, tool calling, model evaluation, or prompt engineering, contributions to open-source AI projects or personal AI applications, and prior work in fast-paced AI-first environments.

Core team compensation listed: 160, 000 to 300, 000 USD yearly. The national pay range provided for this full-time position is a base salary of 120, 000 to 150, 000 USD. All employees are eligible for equity compensation, and employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, subject to role and company policies.
