Software Developer

Build scalable software and provide real-world engineering expertise that helps train next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role supports a digital innovation project through high-quality technical input, practical examples, and clear problem-solving guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, robust software solutions using Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and full-stack technologies.
• Review code in detail and provide actionable feedback on functionality, performance, and engineering standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation that supports architectural decisions and ongoing maintenance.
• Help shape software architecture and recommend practices that promote long-term stability and scalability.
• Analyze requirements and deliver efficient, high-quality work aligned with project needs.
• Contribute programming examples, explanations, and problem-solving approaches for AI training datasets.
• Communicate findings, challenges, and solutions clearly in writing and conversation.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a software developer, consultant, or specialist in Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, or full-stack development.
• Experience designing and reviewing complex software architectures and codebases.
• Strong technical documentation skills, including creating clear, user-friendly materials.
• Experience with code review processes and delivering constructive feedback.
• Ability to explain complex software concepts clearly and concisely.
• Experience collaborating remotely with distributed teams through digital communication tools.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning concepts, or technology training datasets is a plus, but prior AI experience is not required.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $60 to $75 per hour.
