About this role

Revenue, demand, and supply planning professionals apply their retail planning expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and improve AI understanding of end-to-end planning workflows and decisions.

Role Overview

This is a remote, hourly contract engagement supporting AI research. You will use hands-on knowledge from your daily work to create expert training data and assess AI responses for accuracy and relevance. Prior AI experience is not required. The project-based work can be performed alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral work, or industry employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate AI-generated content using expertise in pricing, demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain operations.
  • Provide detailed feedback to improve AI understanding of retail planning workflows and decision-making.
  • Create expert-level training data based on practical planning tools and processes.
  • Assess AI responses for accuracy and relevance.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in revenue, demand, and supply planning within retail or consumer-facing industries.
  • Experience as a Demand Planner, Supply Chain Manager, Pricing Analyst, or in a similar planning or analytics role, or equivalent end-to-end experience across demand, inventory, and pricing.
  • Hands-on experience with demand forecasting and in-season reforecasting.
  • Experience with inventory and supply planning processes.
  • Experience with pricing, promotions, or margin optimization is preferred.
  • Experience with freight, logistics, or cost management, such as invoice auditing.
  • Strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.
Work Terms
  • Remote, part-time, flexible, and asynchronous hourly contract work.
  • No minimum hour requirement. Contributors typically work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week while assigned to an active project.
  • Project placement depends on current needs. Candidates may be considered for future projects as they become available.
Compensation

Up to $80/hr (depending on the project).

Eligibility
  • F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects. Confirm eligibility with your Designated School Official.
  • If your school requires a CPT course, this engagement may not meet your school’s requirements.
  • STEM OPT is not supported.
