Revenue, Demand & Supply Planning professionals apply their pricing, demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain operations expertise to evaluate AI-generated outputs and produce expert training data. This contract role supports AI research by assessing the accuracy and relevance of model responses against real-world retail and consumer-facing planning workflows, and by providing targeted feedback to improve decision-making simulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use hands-on professional experience and the same planning tools you use day to day to create expert-level training data for AI models.
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, and alignment with end-to-end retail planning workflows and business objectives.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback that helps models better represent pricing, demand forecasting, inventory and supply planning, and related decisions.
  • Document examples, edge cases, and common failure modes encountered during evaluation.
  • Work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams to meet project goals and deliverables.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Revenue, Demand or Supply Planning within retail or other consumer-facing industries.
  • Relevant roles include Demand Planner, Supply Chain Manager, Pricing Analyst, or similar planning and analytics positions, or equivalent experience supporting end-to-end planning across demand, inventory, and pricing.
  • Hands-on experience with core planning workflows, including demand forecasting and in-season reforecasting, inventory and supply planning processes.
  • Experience with pricing, promotions, or margin optimization is preferred.
  • Experience with freight, logistics, or cost management tasks, for example invoice auditing, is a plus.
  • Strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with research teams.
  • No prior AI or machine learning experience required.
Work Terms
  • Engagement type: part-time, hourly contract work.
  • Location: fully remote.
  • Schedule: flexible, asynchronous hours with no minimum hour requirement.
  • Typical commitment when active on a project is approximately 5 to 20 hours per week.
  • Project placement depends on current project needs; contributors may be considered for additional projects as they become available.
