Role Overview
Retail Marketing Managers apply retail marketing and CRM expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and produce expert training data that improves AI understanding of retail marketing workflows and practices. The work draws on hands-on experience with promotional planning, customer engagement, and competitive monitoring, and can be completed alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral work, or industry employment.
Key Responsibilities- Use your daily, hands-on knowledge of retail marketing tools and processes to create expert-level training data.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, and fidelity to real retail marketing workflows.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to help AI better reflect promotional planning, customer nurture email flows, and competitive monitoring practices.
- Work independently and asynchronously with research teams to meet project requirements.
- No prior AI experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in retail marketing or CRM, in roles such as Marketing Manager, CRM Manager, or equivalent retail positions.
- Hands-on experience with promotional campaign planning.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating customer nurture email workflows.
- Experience conducting competitive monitoring and market tracking.
- Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an asynchronous setting.
- Remote, part-time, hourly contract work.
- Flexible, asynchronous schedule with no minimum hour requirement.
- Typical participation when projects are active is approximately 5 to 20 hours per week.
- Engagement is project-based and ongoing, placement depends on current project needs, with opportunities to be considered for future projects as they become available.

Eligibility- F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate; consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility.
- If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course for authorization, these projects may not meet that requirement.
- STEM OPT is not supported for these projects.
