Role Overview
Apply epidemiology and real-world data expertise to evaluate commercial drugs and drug-development programs. This remote pilot focuses on building and reviewing evaluation rubrics, with opportunities for recurring work for strong contributors.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and assess rubrics used to analyze commercial drugs and drug-development programs.
- Estimate patient populations for specific drugs or indications, including prevalence, incidence, and diagnosed, treated, and addressable patient segments.
- Evaluate whether patient-population estimates are credible and appropriately sourced, identifying potential over-counting or under-counting.
- Apply this work across the pilot set of drugs and indications.
Qualifications
- US-based epidemiologist, or professional with deep US market experience.
- At least 5 years of epidemiology practice and a graduate degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health.
- Familiarity with biotech and pharmaceutical development programs.
- Experience translating real-world data, including claims, EHR data, and registries, into patient funnels.
Work Terms
- Remote, hourly engagement.
- Approximately 10 to 20 hours of work over a 1 to 2 week pilot.
Compensation
$150 to $175 per hour.
