About this role

Apply scientific and laboratory expertise to improve how next-generation AI systems interpret, reason about, and evaluate complex scientific information. This remote contractor opportunity centers on producing accurate, rigorous feedback from real-world scientific and technical materials. Prior AI experience is not required.

Role Overview

Your domain knowledge will help develop high-quality AI training datasets and evaluations. The work is well suited to professionals in biology, chemistry, physics, laboratory management, research and development, quality science, or manufacturing science who bring strong analytical judgment and a commitment to scientific rigor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze scientific figures, laboratory reports, experimental results, quality documentation, and technical publications for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Evaluate dashboards, charts, and scientific visualizations, providing feedback on scientific integrity and presentation.
  • Create rubrics and evaluation prompts for interpreting complex industry documents and visual data.
  • Interpret, summarize, and critically assess complex scientific content to support robust AI training datasets.
  • Document observations, identify potential inconsistencies, and recommend improvements to clarity and scientific accuracy.
  • Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive, high-quality project work.
  • Apply domain expertise to improve processes and the quality of training data.
Qualifications
  • Professional experience in scientific, laboratory, research, manufacturing, or quality environments.
  • Ability to critically evaluate scientific figures, experimental results, laboratory documentation, and technical publications.
  • Strong scientific data analysis, analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency reviewing dashboards, charts, and scientific visualizations for accuracy and usefulness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for clear documentation and feedback.
  • Domain expertise in biology, chemistry, physics, laboratory management, research and development, quality science, or manufacturing science is highly valued.
  • Comfort collaborating remotely and using digital documentation tools and platforms.
Work Terms
  • Remote contractor engagement.
Compensation
  • $40 to $50 per hour.
