About this role
Land administration professionals apply their mineral title and upstream accounting expertise to evaluate AI-generated work and improve how AI understands upstream land management and accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities- Review AI-generated content and provide detailed expert feedback based on hands-on land administration, mineral title, and upstream accounting workflows.
- Independently produce expert-level analyses and data outputs using the tools and methods of your professional practice.
- Complete structured project tasks, which may include building price forecast models or developing PPA documentation.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in upstream land administration or accounting.
- Experience as a Landman, Senior Landman, Land Administrator, Lease Records Analyst, Revenue Accountant, JIB Analyst, Royalty Owner Analyst, or an equivalent oil and gas industry role.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools: P2 Land, Excalibur, or CourthouseDirect.
- Strong written communication, close attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an asynchronous environment.
- Part-time, independent contractor engagement that is fully remote and project-based.
- Flexible, asynchronous scheduling with no minimum hour requirement. Contributors typically work about 5 to 20 hours per week while assigned to an active project.
- Assignments depend on current project needs, and qualified applicants may be considered for additional projects as they become available.
- This work can be performed alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral work, or industry employment.
Up to $80/hr (depending on the project).
Eligibility- F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects. Confirm eligibility with your Designated School Official.
- If your school requires a CPT course, this engagement may not satisfy that requirement.
- STEM OPT is not supported.
