Role Overview
Help develop evaluation tasks for AI systems used in large public school districts and state education settings. This work reflects the instructional complexity, diverse stakeholder needs, and student-outcome considerations that senior educators and district leaders manage every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Create K-12 scenarios covering curriculum design and adoption, multi-stakeholder IEP and 504 planning, and complex district budget or policy review cycles.
- Develop tasks across instructional design, classroom differentiation and special education, assessment and standards alignment, student support services, and family and community engagement.
- Build education-operations scenarios involving PowerSchool, Canvas, Google Classroom, state assessment platforms, and district-level MTSS and RTI systems.
- Apply frameworks such as Universal Design for Learning, standards-based grading, data-driven instruction, and restorative practices.
- Produce reference lesson plans, IEP documentation, and administrator-level communications.
- Write rubrics that distinguish authentic K-12 educator judgment from generic pedagogical knowledge or textbook recall.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience teaching, administering, or leading instruction in a public or private K-12 school, district office, or state education agency.
- Direct ownership of classroom instruction, IEP or special education caseloads, curriculum programs, or school- or district-level initiatives.
- Fluency with K-12 education tools and frameworks, along with practical understanding of school budgets, state standards compliance, and family and community engagement.
- Experience authoring rubrics, curriculum, or teacher-training content is a plus.
Work Terms
- Remote hourly engagement.
Compensation
- $40 to $50 per hour.
