Role Overview
Help shape AI systems that understand real educational work by turning teaching, assessment, and instructional-design workflows into structured, high-quality training data. This remote opportunity welcomes experienced education professionals across K-12 and higher education, curriculum development and instructional design, assessment and psychometrics, special education, tutoring and academic support, and educational technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Create realistic education scenarios and tasks based on day-to-day practice, including lesson planning, assessment and item writing, rubric-based grading, differentiation and intervention, curriculum and unit design, IEPs and accommodations, and student feedback.
- Assess and compare AI-generated educational content for accuracy, standards alignment, grade-level suitability, and sound pedagogical judgment.
- Evaluate alignment with Common Core, NGSS, state standards, or discipline-specific standards as applicable.
- Develop structured examples that reflect how educators reason through practical challenges.
- Provide clear written feedback to improve AI performance on teaching and instructional tasks.
- Collaborate asynchronously with a research team.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional education experience in K-12 or higher-education teaching, curriculum or instructional design, assessment, special education, tutoring, or a related field.
- Bachelor''s degree in Education or a subject-matter field.
- State teaching license or certification, National Board Certification, or an advanced degree such as an MEd, EdD, PhD, or subject master''s degree is preferred but not required.
- Comfort using common classroom and instructional tools, such as Google Classroom, Canvas, student information systems including PowerSchool, and assessment or curriculum platforms.
- Strong written communication skills and close attention to detail.
Work Terms
- Remote, hourly engagement.
- Contribute within the education specialty and grade band where your expertise is strongest.
- Work includes task design, evaluation, and structured feedback on AI-generated educational outputs.
- Strong contributors may advance to reviewer, lead, and domain-expert roles.
Compensation
$45 to $60 per hour.
