Voice Recorder (Japanese + English)

Role Overview

Create high-quality Japanese audio recordings that help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role centers on natural speech, reliable language data, and careful adherence to project instructions. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Record yourself reading Japanese sentences from a stationary car or quiet office environment.
• Create specified background sounds, including seatbelt clicks, door openings, and car indicator signals, while keeping the vehicle stationary and operating safely.
• Follow detailed linguistic and technical instructions to maintain consistent, reliable audio data.
• Submit high-quality recordings and any required written feedback.
• Work remotely with project coordinators to address clarifications, updates, and feedback on deliverables.
• Handle all recordings and submitted data in accordance with confidentiality and ethical-use requirements.

Qualifications

• Native-level Japanese proficiency, with clear pronunciation and natural fluency.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills in Japanese and English at B2 level or higher.
• Ability to follow precise audio-quality and content specifications.
• Comfort working independently in a remote setting and managing assigned work.
• Strong attention to pronunciation, background noise, and data accuracy.

Work Terms

• Remote, independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
