Role Overview
Apply industrial design and CAD expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through precise, real-world analysis of advanced multi-part assemblies. This remote contract role focuses on creating high-quality technical content from native FreeCAD assembly files. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review complex multi-part CAD assemblies in native FreeCAD format and analyze their design intent.
- Write clear, objective technical questions with exact, non-guessable answers based on assembly details and functions.
- Create several distinct questions for each assembly, covering structure, function, and relationships among components.
- Maintain clarity, precision, and unambiguous answers that meet AI training-data requirements.
- Use mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design knowledge to identify important assembly features and technical nuances.
- Collaborate with project coordinators and provide feedback to improve project processes.
Qualifications
- Background in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design, with strong foundational CAD knowledge.
- Ability to interpret multi-part assembly drawings, CAD files, and technical documentation.
- Experience creating technical documentation, assessment materials, or similarly structured content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with FreeCAD or a similar CAD environment. FreeCAD experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and consistently meet project expectations.
- Interest in contributing expert-driven content for technical education, assessment, or AI-related initiatives.
Work Terms
- Remote independent-contractor engagement.
Compensation
- $40 to $80 per hour.
