Role Overview
Fundraising professionals apply their fundraising and donor-relations expertise to train and evaluate AI systems on real-world fundraising tasks and language. In this role you will help improve how AI models understand donor engagement, solicitation workflows, and development communications through task design and response evaluation. Projects are available year-round and open periodically across different areas of fundraising practice, with placement depending on project availability.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop industry-specific prompts and scenarios that reflect real fundraising tasks.
- Evaluate large language model responses for accuracy, relevance, tone, and appropriateness for fundraising contexts.
- Provide domain feedback to improve AI understanding of donor communications and development workflows.
- Contribute to multiple short-term projects across fundraising specialties, learning new evaluation and prompt-design skills as needed.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the following roles: Fundraising Specialist, Donor Relations Manager, Major Gifts Officer, Development Managers.
- Comfortable participating in primarily asynchronous work with AI research teams and following written instructions for evaluations and prompt creation.
- Location: Remote, work from anywhere.
- Employment type: Part-time.
- Schedule: Flexible hours, primarily asynchronous, with no minimum hourly commitment.
- Project placement is dependent on availability; projects open periodically throughout the year.

Eligibility- F-1 students with eligible CPT or OPT authorizations may be able to participate, but you must confirm eligibility with your Designated School Official. If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this program may not meet that requirement.
