Fundraising Professional for AI Research

Fundraising professionals apply their fundraising and development expertise to help improve how AI understands and performs real-world fundraising tasks and language. Work is project-based, remote, and primarily asynchronous, contributing subject-matter knowledge that guides the development and evaluation of large language model outputs.

• Apply your professional fundraising experience to real-world prompts and scenarios so AI systems better reflect industry practice.
• Develop industry-specific prompts and task descriptions for fundraising workflows.
• Evaluate and annotate large language model responses for accuracy, relevance, and appropriateness to fundraising use cases.
• Provide written feedback and examples that help refine model behavior in donor relations, major gifts, development management, and related areas.

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the following roles or similar fundraising positions: Fundraising Specialist, Donor Relations Manager, Major Gifts Officer, Development Managers.
• Comfort working primarily asynchronously and independently while collaborating with AI research teams.

• Remote, asynchronous work from any location.
• Part-time engagement, flexible hours, no minimum hourly commitment.
• Projects are assigned periodically; placement depends on project availability and openings across different fundraising topics.

• Pay rate: Up to $75/hr (depending on the project).

• F-1 students with valid CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate, but you must confirm eligibility with your Designated School Official. If your school requires enrollment in a course for CPT, this program may not meet that requirement.
• STEM OPT is not supported.

• Create an account and submit a profile to indicate your fundraising background.
• Complete identity verification as part of eligibility checks.
• Enroll in and complete onboarding for relevant fundraising projects when opportunities open.
• Begin assigned project work and receive compensation according to project terms.
