Drive circuit simulation and electronic design using deep Qucs-S expertise to deliver, validate, and optimize complex electronic systems. In this remote contract role you will convert project requirements into robust, manufacturable circuit solutions, produce clear technical documentation, and communicate results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, simulate, and validate electronic circuits and systems using Qucs-S.
  • Develop detailed technical documentation of simulation setups, results, and design decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams to translate project requirements into electronic designs.
  • Optimize circuit designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues discovered during simulation and prototyping.
  • Keep current with Qucs-S updates and incorporate best practices and new features into workflows.
  • Mentor colleagues on advanced Qucs-S simulation techniques and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Proven expertise with Qucs-S for electronic circuit simulation and analysis.
  • Bachelor''s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in electronic circuit design, testing, and optimization for analog, digital, or mixed-signal systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
  • Experience producing comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating Qucs-S with other EDA tools or custom workflows.
  • Contributions to open-source Qucs-S projects or participation in community forums.
Work Terms
  • Engagement type: Contract, remote.

Compensation
  • Pay rate: $50.00 to $120.00 per hour.
