Role Overview
This position involves leveraging your expertise in electrical systems and field operations to contribute to a project focused on enhancing AI systems. You will play a crucial role in shaping how these models learn and perform by providing high-quality, real-world insights. Your hands-on experience in designing, maintaining, troubleshooting, or managing electrical systems will be essential, and no prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze, interpret, and explain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation for AI system training.
- Review, annotate, and validate technical materials including equipment layouts, inspection reports, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate electrical troubleshooting scenarios, documenting analytical approaches and solutions using industry best practices.
- Assess and clarify technical manuals and field operation guides, ensuring accuracy and clarity for non-expert audiences.
- Provide detailed feedback on documentation quality related to field operations and electrical systems design.
- Collaborate asynchronously to share technical context, insights, and practical scenarios reflecting real-world challenges.
- Contribute to refining workflows and processes by communicating technical nuances and identifying information gaps.
- Proven expertise in electrical systems, control systems, automation, instrumentation, or field operations environments.
- Experience interpreting and producing technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational documentation.
- Backgrounds such as Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Electrician, or Maintenance Supervisor are highly valued.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail when working with visually dense technical documents.
- Previous experience in technical documentation review, process optimization, or field data analysis is a plus.
- Comfort collaborating remotely in a digital-first, asynchronous project setting.
This is a contractor position with a remote work arrangement.
CompensationHourly pay ranges from $40 to $50.
