Role Overview
Apply hands-on electrical and field operations expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through clear, accurate, real-world technical input. This remote contractor role is well suited to professionals experienced in designing, maintaining, troubleshooting, or managing electrical systems. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret, and explain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control-system documentation for AI training.
- Review, annotate, and validate equipment layouts, inspection reports, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate electrical troubleshooting scenarios and document analytical approaches and solutions using industry best practices.
- Assess technical manuals and field-operation guides for accuracy and clarity, including for non-expert audiences.
- Provide detailed feedback on documentation quality related to field operations and electrical systems design.
- Collaborate asynchronously to share technical context, practical scenarios, and real-world challenges.
- Help refine workflows and processes by communicating technical nuances and identifying information gaps.
Qualifications
- Expertise in electrical systems, control systems, automation, instrumentation, or field operations environments.
- Experience interpreting and producing technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational documentation.
- Relevant backgrounds may include Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Electrician, or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing visually dense technical documents.
- Experience with technical-documentation review, process optimization, or field-data analysis is a plus.
- Comfort working remotely in a digital-first, asynchronous project environment.
Work Terms
- Remote, contract engagement.
Compensation
- $40 to $50 per hour.
