Help shape upcoming AI-focused compliance and financial crime engagements by sharing how the work is actually performed. This written intake captures the real workflows, tools, decision points, and specialty distinctions used by experienced practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete an approximately 15-minute written intake about your compliance practice.
- Describe your day-to-day workflows, how your time is allocated, and the processes most central to your role.
- Explain how experienced professionals divide the field in practice, including distinctions that differ from textbook classifications.
- Provide concrete examples of where AI currently misunderstands or mishandles your work.
- Identify the less visible aspects of compliance work that external stakeholders and project designers often overlook.
- Provide detailed, specific responses. There are no right or wrong answers.
Qualifications
- Current or recent experience in compliance or financial crime, including first line, second line, internal audit, or external advisory work.
- Experience may be in KYC, CDD, client onboarding, transaction monitoring, AML investigations, sanctions, screening, fraud, disputes, trade surveillance, communications surveillance, conduct compliance, consumer-protection compliance, regulatory reporting, regulatory change, compliance testing, or assurance.
- CAMS, CGSS, CFCS, CFE, CRCM, an ICA diploma, or FINRA registrations are preferred, though substantial domain experience without credentials is equally welcome.
- Ability and willingness to provide detailed written explanations of the mechanics of your work.

Compensation
- Typical compliance engagement rates are $90 to $110 per hour, with rates scaling based on seniority.
