Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of the general ledger and month-end close processes, playing a critical role in our financial reporting function. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy of our financial data, enabling confident decision-making across the organization.

• Own the end-to-end month-end close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all accounts are substantiated and documented.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliations.
• Identify and implement improvements to the close process to reduce cycle time and increase accuracy.
• Partner with leadership to ensure financial data is audit-ready and decision-ready at all times.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls around the close and reporting cycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CA preferred.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience with a clear focus on G/L and month-end close.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong command of Google Sheets and Excel.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage tight close deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-paced startup environment.

• CPA license, or progress toward professional certification.
• Exposure to AI tools or automated accounting workflows.

Full-time position with remote work flexibility.

The national pay range for this position is a base salary of $110, 000, $150, 000 USD. All employees are eligible for equity compensation and may also receive performance-based bonuses, dependent on role and subject to company policies.
