Role Overview
Apply deep, practical finance expertise to shape and evaluate training data for advanced large language models on a GenAI team at a leading AI lab. This role supplies domain knowledge, realistic financial judgment, and high-quality solutions that improve AI performance on finance-focused tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Guide research and engineering teams to close knowledge gaps in financial reasoning, analysis, and decision-making.
- Design challenging, domain-relevant finance tasks and produce accurate, well-reasoned solutions grounded in real financial practice.
- Evaluate AI model outputs using structured rubrics, and deliver clear written feedback on correctness, judgment, and reasoning quality.
- Develop and refine finance-specific evaluation guidelines and scoring rubrics.
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy across training data and evaluations.
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated, hands-on professional experience in finance, for example investment banking, asset management, corporate finance, accounting or audit, corporate treasury, or financial planning and analysis. This must be substantive finance experience, not a generalist role that only touches finance peripherally.
- Current professional finance credential required: CFA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
- Ability to engage reliably for at least 10 hours per week, scheduled on weekdays.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Employment type: W-2 employee of Cincinnatus LLC, serving as the employer of record while placed with a leading AI lab as part of their extended workforce.
- Location: US remote, placement requires the ability to work for a US-based W-2 employer.
- Hourly engagement, with a required minimum commitment of 10 hours per week on weekdays.
Hourly rate: $65.00 to $90.00.
Eligibility- Must hold one of the required professional finance credentials: CFA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
- Must be eligible for W-2 employment in the United States, since this position is paid through Cincinnatus LLC as the employer of record.
