About this role
Role Overview
Apply hands-on STEM expertise to help improve next-generation AI coding agents. You will document how these tools support real technical work, contribute structured examples and feedback, and help shape how AI systems reason and perform. Prior AI experience is not required; practical domain expertise is the core requirement.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate and document real-world uses of AI coding agents in complex STEM projects, including workflows and outcomes.
- Describe technical challenges addressed with AI agents, such as navigating large codebases, debugging, feature development, and system architecture work.
- Explain the tools and methods used, including how AI agents fit into technical problem-solving processes.
- Provide detailed written and verbal feedback on AI-agent strengths, limitations, and performance in different technical contexts.
- Contribute examples, insights, and structured data that inform improvements to AI-agent reasoning and task execution.
- Work asynchronously with project coordinators to refine task guidance and clarify deliverable expectations.
- Current STEM professional with hands-on experience using AI coding agents in real technical settings.
- Experience addressing complex, ambiguous, or large-scale technical challenges with AI tools.
- Strong debugging, system architecture, technical documentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with multiple AI coding agents, tools, or frameworks beyond basic autocomplete or code suggestions.
- Experience with large codebases, system-level architecture, or innovative technical problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and provide thorough documentation and actionable feedback without supervision.
- Interest in advancing next-generation AI through practical technical insight.
- Remote contract engagement.
- $80 to $100 per hour.
