Role Overview
Apply advanced chemistry expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through accurate, high-quality scientific input. This remote independent contractor role focuses on improving how AI models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze technical chemistry content for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Create, edit, and validate experimental write-ups, synthesis reports, and technical analyses that meet project requirements.
- Explain chemistry concepts, mechanisms, and processes at varying levels of complexity.
- Assess and fact-check chemical equations, data sets, and procedural steps.
- Provide structured feedback on chemistry-related data and documentation to support model development.
- Collaborate with project coordinators through written and verbal communication to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Help create and refine project guidelines using subject-matter expertise.
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Chemistry domain expertise and demonstrated experience producing experimental write-ups, synthesis reports, or technical analyses in academic or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of current chemical theory, laboratory techniques, and analytical methods.
- Experience reviewing scientific data, validating chemical data, and assessing technical documentation and procedures with close attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex chemical concepts to experts and non-experts.
- Remote or distributed collaboration experience is a plus.
- Remote contract engagement.
- $20 to $40 per hour.
