Role Overview

Apply your chemistry expertise to shape how next-generation AI systems learn and reason. In this contractor position, you will review and validate chemistry content, produce and refine experimental write-ups and technical analyses, and provide clear, accurate explanations of chemical concepts to support AI training data and model evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze technical chemistry content for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Produce, edit, and validate experimental write-ups, synthesis reports, and technical analyses to meet project requirements.
  • Generate detailed explanations of chemistry concepts, mechanisms, and processes across different levels of complexity.
  • Assess and fact-check chemical equations, data sets, and procedural steps for correctness and safety.
  • Collaborate with project coordinators using written and verbal communication to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Provide structured feedback on chemistry-related data and documentation to support model development.
  • Contribute subject-matter input to create and refine project guidelines and quality criteria.
Qualifications
  • Required skills: chemistry domain expertise, experience with experimental write-ups, technical analysis, scientific data review, chemical data validation, strong written communication, strong verbal communication, attention to detail, ability to explain complex concepts, and experience with remote collaboration.
  • Preferred qualifications: BSc, MSc, or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field; experience producing experimental write-ups, synthesis reports, or technical analyses in academic or industrial settings; strong command of modern chemical theory, laboratory techniques, and analytical methods.
  • No prior experience in AI is required; subject-matter expertise in chemistry is the core requirement.
Work Terms

This is a remote contractor role. You will contribute on a contract basis to a client project focused on generating high-quality chemistry training data and evaluations. Collaboration and deliverable review will occur via written and verbal channels consistent with remote project work.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $20.00 to $40.00 per hour.

Eligibility
  • The role is offered on an independent contractor basis. Candidates must be able to engage as contractors and work remotely from their location.
