Role Overview
Help improve the safety of advanced AI systems by applying PhD-level scientific expertise to specialized technical content in Indonesian. You will assess how models respond to scientific topics, identify accuracy and safety issues, and help strengthen their handling of sensitive information. AI or machine learning experience is not required, as training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop expert-level Indonesian prompts covering specialized scientific subjects.
- Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, usefulness, and appropriate treatment of sensitive content.
- Use structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
- Apply scientific judgment to improve AI handling of specialized technical topics in Indonesian.
Qualifications
- PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related discipline, completed or in progress.
- Ability to create prompts involving chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear subject areas.
- Native or near-native Indonesian fluency and business-level written English.
- Deep familiarity with current laboratory and computational methods in your specialty.
- Sound judgment regarding scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.
Preferred Background
- Based in Indonesia or elsewhere in Southeast Asia, though applicants in other locations are welcome.
- Chemistry-based radiological or nuclear expertise, including radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry, energetic materials, or radiation physics.
- Demonstrated depth in a focused specialty, such as organic or inorganic synthesis, molecular biology, microbiology, virology, or genetics.
- Research or coursework in chemical safety and security, biosafety and biosecurity, or hazardous-materials handling.
- Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.
Work Terms
- Remote, with Southeast Asia preferred.
- Hourly engagement.
- Immediate start.
Compensation
Hourly pay of 19 to 23.
