About this role

Role Overview

Bring real-world architectural expertise to a growing network of industry specialists supporting AI research and development. In this part-time, remote role you will evaluate how AI systems understand and reason about architecture topics, correct inaccuracies, answer domain questions, and share practical insights that improve the reliability and usefulness of AI tools for architectural practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate written content and AI-generated responses in architectural subject areas for accuracy, clarity, and quality.
  • Answer domain-specific questions and provide clear, well-reasoned feedback grounded in professional experience.
  • Identify and recommend useful reference material and sources relevant to architectural practice.
  • Explain real-world tools, workflows, standards, and day-to-day practices used by architects.
  • Collaborate with a small group of subject-matter experts from related fields to refine guidance and assessments.
Qualifications
  • Degree-qualified architect holding a professional architecture license in the United States.
  • At least 2 years of professional architecture experience, preferably across multiple project types such as residential, commercial, or institutional.
  • Familiarity with building codes and standards, for example the IBC, and common design/BIM tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • A portfolio of built or realized work is a plus, academic or purely conceptual work is less relevant.
  • Comfortable using common AI tools, for example ChatGPT or similar interfaces.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
Work Terms
  • Part-time, flexible engagement, approximately 10 hours per week, fully remote within the United States.
  • Hourly employment, paid on a W-2 basis through the staffing employer of record, which provides payroll, benefits, and compliance support while placing employees with client teams.
  • Opportunity to continue and expand the engagement over time based on needs and performance.
Compensation

$65 to $90 per hour.

Eligibility
  • Must be based in the United States and hold a US professional architecture license.
  • Able to commit reliably to about 10 hours per week.
  • Professional working English required.
  • Portfolio of built work is advantageous.
