Role OverviewContribute remotely as an AI trainer on a project to advance artificial intelligence capabilities. No prior AI industry experience is required, your domain knowledge is the priority. Work will involve reviewing model outputs, annotating data, authoring prompts and tasks, and collaborating with other experts to improve model behavior and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Review and critique AI model outputs across diverse domains, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Generate example inputs and expected outputs that demonstrate correct reasoning.
- Annotate and label data to support training and evaluation efforts.
- Author, refine, and iterate prompts, questions, and tasks that challenge model reasoning.
- Deliver clear written rationales and feedback to explain judgments and guide model improvement.
- Collaborate remotely with other experts to evaluate and improve data sets and evaluation criteria.
- Participate in ongoing testing that assesses model performance in realistic scenarios.
- Document findings, track progress, and communicate results to project stakeholders.
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and engagement level of all deliverables.
- Demonstrated expertise in a specialized domain, for example finance, healthcare, STEM, law, education, or writing.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to provide precise, actionable feedback.
- Critical thinking and the ability to articulate nuanced judgments and suggestions.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow and adapt to project guidelines.
- Experience with data annotation, teaching, research, or technical writing is advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity or interest in prompt engineering is valuable.
- Commitment to the ethical use of AI and awareness of potential biases and harms.
- Comfort working independently in a remote, project-based environment and collaborating with distributed teams.
