Senior AI Trainer

Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI systems by turning video of robotic arms performing assigned tasks into precise, structured training data. This remote contract role focuses on expert video annotation, frame-accurate timestamping, and consistent data labeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Review footage of robotic arms and identify key actions and outcomes accurately.
• Apply detailed grading guidelines to tag and annotate events with structured observations.
• Mark exact start and end timestamps for actions, transitions, and outcomes, with frame-accurate segmentation.
• Validate timestamp alignment, correcting drift or inconsistencies between annotations and video footage.
• Use video annotation tools to document findings and submit annotated datasets according to project standards and milestones.
• Work with trainers and contributors to resolve ambiguities, refine guidelines, and maintain team-wide annotation consistency.
• Take part in quality reviews and incorporate feedback to uphold rigorous annotation standards.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing and labeling visual data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration, reporting, and timely progress updates.
• Effective time management and self-organization for independent remote work.
• An analytical, problem-solving approach to annotation challenges.
• Experience with video annotation, data labeling, or similar data-focused annotation projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with video annotation software, including timeline-based timestamping and event-segmentation tools, is preferred.
• Experience with frame-level or timecode-based annotation, such as defining event boundaries, working with frame rates, or reviewing footage frame by frame, is preferred.
• Background in AI training, machine learning data preparation, or robotics projects is strongly preferred.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $50 to $90 per hour.
