Telemarketer for AI Model Training

Telemarketers apply outbound sales and customer-contact expertise to evaluate AI-generated responses and improve model behavior by providing clear, structured feedback. No prior AI experience is required. You will create realistic prompts based on telemarketing work, review AI outputs for accuracy and relevance, and deliver assessments that help models better reflect real workplace language and tasks.

• Develop prompts that reflect telemarketing tasks and scenarios, then evaluate the responses AI models produce.
• Assess content for correctness, tone, completeness, and usefulness in the context of telemarketing and customer outreach.
• Provide clear, structured feedback and examples that help models learn workplace terminology, workflows, and decision-making.
• Work asynchronously with research teams and AI labs to complete assigned evaluation tasks.

• Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone to solicit sales or donations.
• Obtain customer information such as name, address, and payment method, and enter orders into computer systems.
• Explain products or services and prices, and answer customer questions.
• Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted.
• Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and orders.
• Answer telephone calls from potential customers who respond to advertisements.
• Deliver prepared sales talks from scripts to persuade customers to make purchases or donations.
• Telephone or write letters to respond to customer correspondence or follow up on initial sales contacts.
• Adjust sales scripts to better target individual needs and interests.
• Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers from directories, reply cards, and purchased lists.
• Schedule appointments for sales representatives or sales presentations.
• Conduct client or market surveys to obtain information about potential customers.

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the telemarketing duties listed above.
• Comfort working asynchronously and independently with research teams or AI labs.
• No prior AI training experience required, strong domain knowledge and communication skills expected.

• Contract, part-time role performed remotely and asynchronously.
• Flexible scheduling with no minimum weekly commitment; most contributors average 5 to 20 hours per week.
• Placement into specific projects depends on project availability; the program runs year-round and new projects open periodically.

Up to $60/hr (depending on the project)

• F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate, subject to your school and Designated School Official guidance.
• If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this program may not meet that requirement.
• STEM OPT is not supported.
