About this role

Role Overview

Telemarketers apply their call and sales expertise to evaluate AI model outputs for telemarketing tasks, provide field-specific content assessments, and deliver clear, structured feedback that helps models better reflect real-world telemarketing language and processes. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review AI-generated responses to telemarketing prompts and judge accuracy, tone, relevance, and compliance with real-world practice.
  • Create and refine prompts that reflect telemarketing scenarios and typical workplace interactions.
  • Provide detailed, structured feedback to improve model understanding of telemarketing tasks and language.
  • Use your knowledge of routine telemarketing duties, which may include contacting businesses or individuals by telephone to solicit sales or donations, explaining products or services and prices, and answering customer questions.
  • Evaluate AI handling of tasks such as obtaining and recording customer information, entering orders, maintaining contact and account records, and responding to customer correspondence.
  • Assess AI performance on scripted sales talks, tailored script adjustments for specific prospects, scheduling appointments, lead sourcing, and conducting client or market surveys.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in telemarketing, telephone sales, customer outreach, or closely related roles.
  • Experience with the specific duties listed above will provide the context needed to evaluate and train high-quality AI models.
  • Ability to work asynchronously and independently in collaboration with AI research teams.
Work Terms
  • Engagement type, contract, hourly and temporary.
  • Remote and asynchronous, work from any location where you are authorized to work.
  • Flexible scheduling with no minimum commitment, most contributors average 5 to 20 hours per week.
  • Placement into active projects depends on availability, the program runs year-round and new projects open periodically.
Compensation

Up to $60/hr (depending on the project)

Eligibility
  • F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate, subject to approval by your Designated School Official. If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this program may not meet that requirement.
  • STEM OPT is not supported.
  • Confirm your specific work authorization eligibility with your school or immigration advisor before applying.
