Visual Designer for AI Model Training

Visual design professionals apply aesthetic and branding expertise to improve how large language models respond to tasks in visual storytelling, brand design, and professional communication. You will contribute creative judgment, design inputs, and evaluations that help shape AI outputs for design-focused applications.

• Develop domain-specific prompts, inputs, and scenarios that guide AI in producing visual and brand-focused outputs.
• Evaluate and annotate LLM responses for visual storytelling, brand communication, and professional design contexts.
• Research design topics and test approaches with AI assistance to refine prompts and evaluation criteria.
• Document findings, provide actionable feedback to research partners, and iterate on evaluation methods to improve model performance.
• Learn and adopt new skills across AI and design disciplines while contributing to ongoing projects.

• Bachelor''s degree required.
• At least 2+ years of professional work experience in design.
• Prior full-time experience in one or more of the following roles: brand designer, product designer, digital designer, visual designer, creative director, or art director.
• Portfolio that demonstrates visual design, brand work, or related creative outcomes.
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously within a distributed team and in collaboration with AI research partners.
• Comfort applying creative judgment where AI-generated concepts may require human refinement, and openness to learning new approaches.

• Location: Remote, asynchronous work from any location.
• Employment type: Part-time.

Up to $120/hr (depending on the project)
