Role Overview
Visual Design Professionals apply visual and brand design expertise to evaluate, prompt, and refine AI-generated visual and multimodal outputs. In this role you will help improve Large Language Models'' creative capabilities in visual storytelling, brand identity, and professional communication.
Key Responsibilities- Advance the creative performance of LLMs for visual storytelling, brand design, and professional communication by reviewing and refining model outputs.
- Develop domain-specific prompts and input templates, and evaluate LLM responses for clarity, usefulness, and alignment with design goals.
- Research design topics that interest you, using AI tools as a research and prototyping aid.
- Contribute across design specializations as projects require, learning new skills while working on interdisciplinary AI tasks.
- Work independently and asynchronously with distributed research partners and project teams.
- Bachelor''s degree.
- At least 2+ years of professional design experience.
- Full-time work experience in roles such as brand designer, product designer, digital designer, visual designer, creative director, or art director.
- A design portfolio that demonstrates your visual thinking and craft.
- Ability to work independently and asynchronously within a distributed team and with AI research partners.
- Confidence that your creative insight can exceed current AI capabilities when visualizing and explaining business concepts.
- Remote, asynchronous work, perform tasks from any location.
- Part-time engagement with flexible scheduling and no minimum required hours.
- The program runs year-round, and available projects vary by design specialization.
- Placement into specific projects depends on project availability.
Up to $120/hr (depending on the project)
