About this role
Video editors apply their technical editing skills to evaluate and improve how AI systems understand and assist with real-world video production tasks. In this role you will use hands-on editing experience to create guidance, assess model outputs, and provide professional feedback that helps shape AI behavior for video workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Apply domain expertise to help AI better interpret and perform professional video editing tasks.
- Develop domain-specific prompts and test prompts against model responses.
- Evaluate and document LLM responses and other AI outputs for accuracy, relevance, and practical usefulness.
- Provide structured feedback and examples that reflect real-world editing workflows and standards.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience using one or more video editing tools, such as OpenShot or Shotcut.
- Familiarity with other related technical editing tools and common video production workflows.
- Ability to work asynchronously with distributed AI research teams, manage tasks independently, and communicate clear, actionable feedback.
- Location: Remote, work from any location.
- Employment type: PART_TIME.
- Schedule: Asynchronous and flexible hours, with no minimum hourly commitment required.
- Work is independent and self-directed; placement on specific projects depends on project availability.

Eligibility- F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility.
- If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, the program may not meet that requirement.
- STEM OPT is not supported.

The program runs year-round and project opportunities open periodically across different areas of expertise. Placement into projects is dependent on availability and matching between project needs and your skills.
