About this role

Role Overview

Technical Support professionals apply troubleshooting, systems administration, and end-user support experience to evaluate and improve how AI handles real-world technical support tasks and language. This role focuses on creating and testing technical prompts, reviewing large language model responses, and providing domain-informed feedback that helps shape AI behavior for support workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop industry-specific prompts and test scenarios that reflect real technical support workflows.
  • Evaluate LLM responses for accuracy, clarity, and usefulness in troubleshooting and support contexts.
  • Provide structured feedback to improve AI understanding of technical tasks, terminology, and escalation procedures.
  • Work asynchronously on assigned project tasks, documenting examples and edge cases from practical experience.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in one or more of the following roles: Technical Support Specialist, IT Support Engineer, IT Service Desk Specialist, Desktop Support Specialist.
  • Comfortable with primarily asynchronous collaboration and providing detailed written feedback for AI training purposes.
Work Terms
  • Location: Remote.
  • Employment type: PART_TIME.
  • Schedule: Asynchronous work with flexible hours, there is no minimum hourly commitment required.
  • Program cadence: Projects run year-round and new project opportunities open periodically across different areas of expertise. Placement into specific projects depends on project availability.
Compensation

Up to $75/hr (depending on the project)

Eligibility
  • F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility.
  • If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, these projects may not meet that requirement.
  • STEM OPT is not supported for this work.
