Tax Advisor (CPA or EA) for AI Model Training

Role Overview

Apply your tax advisory expertise to improve AI systems used for tax preparation and advisory work. You will provide detailed, real-world input that helps models learn to interpret tax scenarios, reason through complex issues, and deliver accurate guidance. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze real-world tax scenarios, providing guidance aligned with IRS regulations and industry standards.
• Evaluate and annotate tax documents and workflows to establish training rubrics and best practices.
• Provide recommendations on income tax preparation and filing for individuals and/or businesses.
• Identify nuanced issues and edge cases in federal and state tax matters to improve model accuracy and reasoning.
• Work remotely with a multidisciplinary team advancing AI capabilities in tax advisory services.
• Document structured, detailed insights and feedback for high-quality dataset contributions.
• Assess AI outputs for accuracy and completeness, then recommend iterative improvements.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent credential is required.
• Demonstrated experience with income tax preparation and filing for individuals and/or businesses.
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and concisely.
• Experience developing or applying rubrics, checklists, or quality standards in tax advising or education.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize nuances in tax laws and regulations.
• Interest in AI and technology-driven solutions for the tax or accounting sector.
• Experience with training, auditing, or peer review is preferred but not required.

Work Terms

• Independent contractor engagement.
• Remote work, available only to candidates located in the United States.

Compensation

$80 to $110 per hour.
