Role Overview
Apply advanced financial modeling expertise to help improve how next-generation AI models perform Excel-based finance work. You will create, assess, and refine realistic spreadsheet tasks and solutions informed by professional experience in areas such as private equity, investment banking, hedge funds, equity research, accounting, or FP&A.
Key Responsibilities
- Support research teams in closing knowledge gaps and improving AI performance on finance-focused Excel tasks.
- Design realistic Excel assignments grounded in finance-domain experience and produce accurate, well-structured solutions.
- Review Excel tasks and solutions, providing clear written feedback.
- Work with fellow subject matter experts to maintain consistency and accuracy in training data.
Qualifications
- Advanced professional Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, PivotTables, financial modeling, dashboards, Power Query, Power Pivot, and macros/VBA.
- Professional finance experience in private equity, investment banking, hedge funds, equity research, accounting, or FP&A, including three-statement models, LBO and DCF valuation, and forecasting.
- Demonstrated career progression in the field.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in AI training, human data annotation, or model evaluation is a strong plus.
Work Terms
- United States-based, W-2 hourly employment.
- Reliable weekday availability for 40 hours per week through the end of September, then 20 hours per week thereafter.
Compensation
$70 to $100 per hour.
