About this role

In the role of Strategic Project Lead (PCB & Embedded Design), you will be pivotal in managing relationships with top AI Lab customers while leading a team of Electrical/Electronics Engineering experts. This position focuses on training frontier AI models, particularly in areas such as PCB design, power electronics, embedded systems, and industrial electronics. You will ensure the highest standards of technical accuracy, data integrity, scalability, and quality in the execution of workflows that manage large-scale engineering data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own projects from inception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction for top AI Lab clients.
  • Manage complex, domain-specific data pipelines to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in Electrical/Electronics workflows.
  • Oversee teams of Human Data Managers and Leads, reviewing the work of subject-matter experts in relevant domains.
  • Act as a trusted technical and strategic partner, communicating directly with clients on high-impact projects.
  • Collaborate with Human Data Engineers to define, track, and optimize KPIs across expert-driven workflows.
  • Provide executive-level insights and updates on project status, data performance, and operational impact.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional soft skills and stakeholder management abilities, particularly with senior technical experts and clients.
  • Willingness to work long hours, including weekends if necessary, in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong hands-on background in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, including experience in PCB design, schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation, component selection, and board validation/testing.
  • Familiarity with tools such as KiCad, SpiceBridge, PCBParts, or similar PCB design and simulation tools.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or project ownership role, managing technical teams and optimizing workflows.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a client-facing environment.

Full-time position with remote work flexibility.

Compensation

Annual compensation ranges from $400, 000 to $550, 000.
