About this role
Role Overview
Lead high-impact engineering data initiatives that help train advanced AI models, with a focus on PCB design, power electronics, embedded systems, and industrial electronics. You will serve as the primary contact for major AI lab clients while leading Electrical and Electronics Engineering experts and ensuring technical accuracy, data integrity, scalability, and quality across complex workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Own projects from planning through delivery, with responsibility for client satisfaction and project success.
- Lead and manage teams of Human Data Managers and Leads who review subject-matter expert work across PCB design, power electronics, embedded systems, and related engineering domains.
- Design, manage, and improve domain-specific engineering data pipelines to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Communicate directly with AI lab clients as a trusted technical and strategic partner on large, high-impact projects.
- Partner with Human Data Engineers to define, monitor, and optimize KPIs for expert-driven workflows.
- Provide executive-level updates and insights on project progress, data performance, and operational impact.
Qualifications
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior technical experts and clients.
- Hands-on Electrical or Electronics Engineering experience, including PCB design, schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation, component selection, and board validation and testing.
- Experience in areas such as converters, battery systems, embedded electronics, or industrial electronics.
- Experience with KiCad, SpiceBridge, PCBParts, or comparable PCB design and simulation tools.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or project-ownership role involving technical-team management, operational processes, or complex-workflow optimization.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences in a client-facing environment.
- Willingness to work long hours, including weekends when required, in a fast-moving startup environment.

Compensation
- Annual compensation range: $400, 000 to $550, 000.
