About this role
Support and accelerate GenAI research and data operations by acting as the operational bridge between program leadership and domain experts. In this role you will keep day-to-day workflows running, translate leadership inputs into actionable guidelines, and help scale expert teams at a leading AI lab while employed as a W-2 worker through Cincinnatus LLC.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for AI data projects, ensuring workflows and operations run smoothly.
- Work with program leads and domain experts to convert leadership direction into clear guidelines and share those with expert teams.
- Support onboarding and ongoing support for new experts as the program grows.
- Attend weekly business reviews, document notes and action items, maintain organized tracking, and lead calls when required.
- Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and communicate findings across teams.
- Contribute to creating and refining project guidelines with research and product partners.
- Proactively flag potential roadblocks and help coordinate their resolution.
- Track project deliverables using Google Sheets and Excel.
- Remain flexible and adapt responsibilities as project needs evolve.
- Location requirement, eligibility: must be based in the United States.
- Education: STEM background strongly preferred.
- Experience: minimum 3 years in project coordination or project management, including coordination of large, cross-functional teams.
- AI fluency: hands-on experience on AI training-data or human-data projects, in roles such as project coordinator, team lead, engineering program manager, or expert contributor.
- Preferred background: prior project coordination on AI or data programs at major technology companies, or project-lead experience on AI training programs.
- Skills: strong data management experience with Excel, familiarity with SQL, and working knowledge of coding.
- Leadership: prior people management experience or demonstrated ability to lead large groups effectively.
- Employment type: hourly, W-2 employment through Cincinnatus LLC, which acts as employer of record and handles payroll, benefits, and compliance while placing employees with client teams.
- Placement: you will be placed to work with a leading AI lab as part of their extended workforce.

Pay range: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour.
Schedule & Commitment- Hourly schedule, with regular participation in weekly business reviews and the ability to lead calls and coordinate across teams as required.
