About this role

Role Overview

Coordinate day-to-day operations for GenAI training and data programs, serving as the operational bridge between program leadership and domain experts. You will keep workflows running, translate leadership direction into clear guidelines for expert teams, and help the program scale while maintaining data quality and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for AI data projects, keeping operations and workflows on track.
  • Work with program leads and domain experts to convert leadership inputs into clear, actionable guidelines for expert contributors.
  • Onboard and support new experts as the program expands.
  • Participate in weekly business reviews, take and organize notes and action items, and lead calls when needed.
  • Identify and escalate quality issues, investigate root causes, and share findings across teams.
  • Contribute to creating and refining project guidelines with research and product partners.
  • Flag potential roadblocks early and coordinate resolution with stakeholders.
  • Track project deliverables using Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Remain flexible and adapt to evolving project needs.
Qualifications
  • Location requirement, must be based in the United States.
  • STEM background strongly preferred.
  • 3 or more years of experience in project coordination or project management, with demonstrated ability to coordinate large, cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with AI training-data or human-data projects, in roles such as project coordinator, team lead, engineering program manager, or expert contributor.
  • Ideal experience includes prior coordination of AI or data programs at large tech companies such as Meta, TikTok, or Amazon, or experience leading AI training projects at comparable organizations.
  • Strong data management skills, including Excel and SQL, and a working knowledge of coding.
  • Prior people management experience or demonstrated ability to lead large groups effectively.
Work Terms
  • Employment classification, W-2 employee through an employer of record that places staff at the client AI lab as part of an extended workforce.
  • Hourly employment type.
  • Regular participation in weekly business reviews and availability to lead calls when required.
  • Role requires flexibility to adapt hours and tasks as project needs evolve.
Compensation
  • Pay range, $45 to $55 per hour.
